How can I book an appointment?
Firstly - do not come to the salon if you, or anyone in your household has a new, persistent cough, temperature, or loss of smell or taste. If this applies to you, please DO NOT visit the salon, and follow the guidelines on self-isolating. If this means that you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please call the salon on 01530 260111 as soon as you are able.

Why are you taking a deposit?
Now, more than ever, small businesses like ours need your help! Before the coronavirus pandemic, approximately £15k of appointments were cancelled, and this is unsustainable in these challenging times. Because of this, we are asking for a £5 or £10 deposit at the point of booking (depending upon your service). This deposit will be deducted from your final total.
Please note that if you decide to cancel your appointment or change the service type within 48 hours of your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit. Similarly, if you do not show up for your appointment, then your deposit will be lost.
What if I need a skin test?
If you are new to LoXx and need a skin test, then please call the salon on 01530 260111 and make an appointment. Please do not just turn up to the salon as we will not be able to carry out a skin-test without an appointment.
What measures are you putting in place to keep me safe? Do I need to wear a mask and gloves?
We are asking all clients to follow a strict set of instructions in order to keep our clients and our staff safe, including the regular use of hand sanitiser. Please do NOT come to the salon wearing gloves, but clients can wear their own face coverings to travel to the salon as long as they meet the guidelines set out by the Government, however, masks will be provided in salon and MUST be used for the duration of your appointment.
We are adding a £3 PPE charge to all of our appointments to help keep our salon Covid safe. This poster will give more information on what this extra cost covers.

Our staff will be wearing the appropriate PPE, and are also following a strict set of rules in order to help keep the salon Covid safe, including regular cleaning of the salon and toilets, disinfecting of scissors and other tools, as well as providing disposable towels . If you see any client or member of staff following un-safe working practices, then this should be reported directly to a member of staff at the earliest opportunity.
